Vadim Ilyasov
Vadim Ilyasov is the CTO and Co-Founder of RiskSeal. He leads product development and is responsible for the architecture, functionality, and decision logic of RiskSeal’s digital credit scoring system.
Vadim’s work focuses on developing the infrastructure that collects, processes, and validates digital footprint signals used for credit risk assessment and loan fraud prevention.
He also led the technical initiatives that enabled RiskSeal to achieve ISO 27001 certification in 2025.
Vadim has worked in software development and technical leadership roles since 2005.
Before co-founding RiskSeal in 2022, he spent seven years at GeoComply. There, he led engineering and business growth in Ukraine, scaling the Kharkiv team from under 10 specialists to more than 170.
He has also co-founded and led delivery operations at CodeTiburon, a software development company, for over a decade.
On the RiskSeal blog, Vadim writes about alternative data strategy, model performance uplift, and how lenders can use new digital signals to improve approvals, reduce defaults, and detect identity fraud.
